  1. Reconciliation
    • Commitment to Change Working Group
      • Increase membership on working group based on revised terms of reference;
      • Support the activities of the Commitment to Change working group;

      • BOD to make decision regarding land acknowledgement and staff signature.

      • Identify priorities for implementation of pertinent elements of the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Call for Justice of the Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls; Committees, Board, staff and other constituency groups
      • Continue to develop relationship with the National Indigenous Accreditation Board (NIAB).

    • A. Emphasis on Indigenous languages in addition to maintaining French and English;
      • In collaboration with TC-ISWEN, initiate a long-term plan for the inclusion and integration of Indigenous languages in CASWE-ACFTS publications and communications in meaningful ways that are in alignment with the Association’s commitment to change and decolonization;

      • Increased presence, visibility and audibility of the Indigenous language(s) of the territories on which the Conference is occurring in associated conference materials;
