Global Indigenous Technology House Debuts at SXSW, Pioneering Indigenous Innovation and Inclusion

NationTalk: Austin, Texas – The inaugural Global Indigenous Technology House is set to make a groundbreaking opening at SXSW 2025, showcasing the intersection of technology, innovation, and Indigenous cultures from around the world to uplift Indigenous creative space.

Hosted by the Global Centre of Indigenomics, in partnership with Move37XR, this unique initiative aims to create a space for Indigenous creatives to connect and collaborate and will foster a platform that celebrates diversity and inclusivity within the tech industry. The Global Indigenous Technology House seeks to amplify Indigenous voices, bringing attention to their contributions to the ever-evolving landscape of immersive technologies, storytelling, Indigenous worldview. The Global Indigenous Technology House serves to advance the creative Indigenous tech ecosystem and will feature an Immersive dome as a mobile innovation lounge.

From cutting-edge startups to established creative learning labs, the Global Indigenous Technology House will feature a diverse array of projects spanning artificial intelligence, sustainable tech, digital art, and immersive storytelling. Participants can expect thought-provoking panels, interactive exhibits, an Innovation Lounge and networking opportunities that highlight the richness of Indigenous knowledge systems and contributions in the tech realm.
