Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN), the Governments of Saskatchewan and Canada agreed to an interim document related to Jordan’s Principle, and committed to working together to move forward on developing a final arrangement to fully implement Jordan’s Principle. The interim implementation represents the first time in Canada an agreement on Jordan’s Principle has been developed and endorsed by the First Nations, Canada and a Province. The Ministry of Health continues to play a role with the Ministries of First Nations and Métis Relations, Social Services and Education in moving toward a final agreement.
